சென்ற வாரக்கடைசியில் தஞ்சாவூர் செல்ல நேர்ந்தது. இரு தின விஜயம். சென்ற வேலை சீக்கிரம் முடிந்துவிட்டதால், மிச்சமிருந்த கொஞ்ச நேரத்தை தஞ்சை பெரிய கோவிலில் செலவிட்டோம். கோவிலில் சரியான கூட்டம். ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் குழவிகளும் கிழவிகளுமாக! தஞ்சாவூரில் அழகுக்குப் பஞ்சமில்லை.
ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமை என்பதால் வரும் கூட்டம் போலிருக்கிறது என நான் கருதினேன்! அப்புறம்தான் தெரிந்தது- அதெல்லாம் சாமி கும்பிட வந்த கூட்டம் என்று! வாயடைத்துப் போய்விட்டேன்!
அடே! உங்கள நூறு பெரியார் வந்தாலும் திருத்தமுடியாதுடா!
தஞ்சை பெரிய கோவில் ஒரு கோவிலே அல்ல! அது ஒரு கோட்டை! வெளிப்புறம் உள்ள அகழி, வெளிநகரம், உள்நகரம் என அமைந்த ஒரு கோட்டை! அதை சற்று கூர்ந்து கவனித்தால் யாருக்கும் புரியக்கூடிய உண்மை இது!
தஞ்சை பெரிய கோவில் கட்டப்பட்டு ஆயிரம் வருடம் நிறைந்துவிட்டது. அதன் சிற்ப வேலைப்பாடுகளைப் பாருங்கள். கல்லிலே, ஏதோ களிமண்ணைக் குழைத்து வடித்ததுபோல் என்னமாய் செதுக்கியிருக்கிறார்கள்!? சுமார் ஐம்பது கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவிலிருந்தும் அதற்கு மேலான தொலைவிலிருந்தும்கூட கொண்டுவரப்பட்டக் கற்களைக் கொண்டு செதுக்கப்பட்ட சிலைகள்! ஏதோ உயிர்கொண்டு நடமாடுவதைப்போல் துலங்கும் கற்சிலைகள். அதையெல்லாம் ரசிப்பதை விட்டுவிட்டு ஏதோ சிவலிங்கத்தை வழிபடும் இந்த ஆட்டுமந்தைகளை எதால் அடிக்கலாம்? நீங்களே ஒரு யோசனை சொல்லுங்கள்!
மேலே இருக்கும் படம், அந்தக் கோட்டையின் உட்புறத்தே இருக்கும் ஒரு கோவிலில் உள்ள விக்கிரகத்தின் 'மாதிரி'! அதாவது கோவிலின் உள்ளே அதே போன்ற சிலை ஒன்று உண்டு! அதனை வழிபட்டது போதாதென்று கோவிலின் வெளியே வந்து, இந்த சிலையை தொட்டு தொட்டு வணங்கி அதை நாறடித்துவிட்டார்கள் இந்த பாவிகள்! இந்த 'மாதிரி' சிலையை கண்டறிந்து, அதனை முதலில் வழிபட்டவன் எவ்வளவு அறிவுக் குருடனாக இருப்பான் என எண்ணும்போதே எனக்கு தலை சுற்றுகிறது!
எனக்கு இராஜராஜன் மேல் விமர்சனங்கள் உண்டு! ஏற்கனவே அதனைப்பற்றி ஒரு சிறிய கவிதை கூட எழுதியிருக்கிறேன்! படிக்க சொடுக்கவும். தஞ்சையின் கோட்டையைக் கட்டிய தலைமை சிற்பி யார் என்ற தகவல் யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. மகேந்திரவர்மப் பல்லவன் கட்டிய மாமல்லபுரத்தின் குகைக் கோவில்களை எழுப்பியது ஆயனர் என்ற சிற்பிதான் என்ற தகவல் உள்ளது. கல்கிகூட அதனை சிவகாமியின் சபதத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறார். (ஆயனரே சிவகாமியின் தந்தை என்ற கற்பனையோடு)
தஞ்சைக்கு அந்த மாதிரியான நம்பத்தகுந்த தகவல்கள் இல்லை. எவ்வளவு பெரிய இருட்டடிப்பு?
சிவனைப்பாடிய நால்வரின் சிலைகள் அங்கு இருக்கிறது! நந்தி மண்டபத்தின் மேற்கூரையில் மராட்டியர்களால் வரையப்பட்ட ஓவியங்கள் இருக்கிறது! கல்லிலே மயில் தோகை விரித்தாடுவதைப் போல் அந்தக் கோபுரம் முழுவதும்
பல இடங்களில் இருக்கிறது.
அதையெல்லாம் ரசிப்பதை விட்டுவிட்டு சிவலிங்கத்தை வழிபடப் போகிறீர்களே! மக்களே!
நீங்கள் செய்வது - இருபது வருடங்களாக கற்களோடும் உளிகளோடும் வாழ்ந்து காயப்பட்ட ஆயிரம் சிற்பிகளின் சமாதிகளில் எச்சில் துப்புவதற்குச் சமானம்!

ReplyDeleteyou are right, only who knows the origin of life and origin of this bullshit religion knows that every religion is made to suppress one community people by dominant race... the weapon they took for this god... only science is absolute knowledge for man kind... since it convert human(uncivilized animal) into a man(civilized person)... there are something which are beyond our knowledge i accept that ... but basic thing is we have to go in path of truth and discipline that itself is enough... the problem among our people is "we do only by compulsion rather than by our own instinct"... thats why religion and god came into exist to do the people under compulsion...
to my concern this world is not perfect...its keep on moving to perfect... like wise man kind is also not perfect.. it is moving towards perfect... thats why we not completely evolved... we yet to know more and more knowledge... and it will take time...jam...
